“How many roads?” Easter 2011 in numbers

23 of us packed like sardines around the Easter table:
6 women
6 men
11 nieces and nephews
12 hard-boiled eggs
3 tubes of food coloring
1000 chocolate eggs
1 Easter Vigil
1 bonfire
30 baguettes (10 per day)
1 loaf of cornbread (someone had to bring something American — and it wasn’t myself!)
3 bottles of Champagne
1 Tarte Tatin a la Emily
2 thunderstorms
3 runners; 1 post-feast run
AND
(at least) 1 tummy ache

    So glad to hear that you had a fun/family filled Easter, Emily. We had the same- minus Kate but including the thunderstorms … the Ohio River is rising! Sugar and Monty are happy as clams back in the run-in shed together, she even gets a handful of grain daily. Her winter coat will be just a memory by the time you see her in June. Until then … xxoo
